Web used to promote volunteering and philanthropy in South Africa
GivingandSharing.org.za is the Web element of an annual campaign “to highlight, honour and strengthen volunteerism and philanthropy in South Africa.”
The Web site encourages non-profit organisations to contribute news items about their work and needs for voluntary support. It gives details about how both companies and individuals can get involved.
The annual campaign takes place this year in the week of 8-15 November.
The project is funded by the Ford Foundation.
