Communities and Families Fund to help Scottish young children
The Big Lottery Fund has published a video introduction to The Communities and Families Fund which it runs together with The Scottish Government.
The Fund is available to voluntary organisations in Scotland that support young children or parents and families of children who are aged eight and under. Grants of between £250 and £10,000 are available.
Organisations can apply for up to 100% of the project’s costs, including overheads, training costs, sessional staff, and materials.
The Big Lottery Fund gives examples of types of local projects that this Fund might support:
- Parenting support and development projects
- Community play projects
- Projects that support better nutrition for young children
- Community-based family support and childcare projects
There is no deadline for applications.
